The world population is at about 7 billion right now, and many are speculating that we’ll reach 9 billion by 2045, unless there’s a catastrophe or plague or women only have 1 child, or 2, just to keep the species going.
Scientists believe that the world will be tapped out of natural resources when we reach 9 billion, and from what I understand the world can only have so many people living on it with enough resources to go around.
Many people are saying there’s no reason to panic, or even become overly concerned, of course, because we’re not there yet.
That said, I’m not sure what to think about this, I was just interested by the article and thought I’d share.
What are your thoughts?
